Our family has deep roots in the cotton mills of central North Carolina and the coal mines of the Virginia mountains. Over generations, we have witnessed the ebb and flow of seasons, seeing the evolution of these areas as they transition into the next chapters of their histories. With time, our commitment remains constant – to be actively engaged in the narrative, fostering positive change and growth within the communities that have been our cherished homes for many years.

Meet our Team

  • Mandy Tabor Owner/Broker in Charge

Mandy grew up in Hillsborough and now calls Mebane home. She’s seen a lot of changes from the sleepy towns dominated by cotton and tobacco mills in her youth to the booming cities we enjoy today. Though it comes with some challenges, it is an exciting time to call central NC home. She knows and loves the area and is more than happy to help you list or buy a home from Greensboro to Raleigh. She worked for years as an accountant before changing careers and becoming a licensed real estate agent after falling in love with the world of real estate. She’s always had a heart for people, and getting to bring genuine dedication and care for her clients as they make important decisions in life is her favorite part of the job

  • Larry Tabor Owner/General Contractor

Though Larry has long called North Carolina home, he grew up in a proud family of coal miners in the Virginia mountains. He moved to NC when he married Mandy and began working as a brick mason, eventually working in law enforcement, before returning to brick masonry and now as a licensed real estate agent and general contractor. He understands that selling, renovating, or buying a home is usually the biggest investment a person will ever make. What excites him most is getting to put his expertise to work to help ensure that clients are making well-informed decisions.

  • Christa Slaughter Broker/Realtor

Christa grew up in Person County but has lived and worked for the past 30 years in and around Durham, Orange, and Alamance Counties. She has both cotton and coal in her blood; her father worked for and retired from Collins and Aikman in Roxboro and her grandfather was a coal miner from West Virginia. After many years in customer service, it was time for a career change, and after a chance lunch date with Mandy, the Real Estate die was cast. Christa is results-focused with exceptional problem-solving skills, and the desire to help people with one of the biggest decisions of their lives. She has a passion for service with a strong focus on working with underserved communities.

  • Cindy Thompson | Realtor

Cindy has a deep connection to Orange County and its surrounding area, having lived there for over 40 years. Growing up in a large family, she has witnessed significant changes in the community that she holds near and dear. Currently residing in Mebane with her husband, whom she has been married to for 25 years, Cindy is a proud mother of two college-aged sons. In her professional life, Cindy works as an Applications Business Analyst at UNC healthcare. She thrives on building strong relationships with customers and is known for her ability to find innovative solutions and deliver exceptional results. With a passion for helping others, Cindy's encounter with Mandy led her to realize that a career in real estate was the perfect fit for her. Her dedication to exceeding expectations and her genuine desire to assist others make her a reliable and trustworthy partner in the real estate journey.
